Organised by UK Trade & Investment with support from RenewableUK and hosted by the British Ambassador Sir Geoffrey Adams, the main objective of this event will be to bring together Dutch and British supply chain companies, developers, turbine manufacturers and other stakeholders in the offshore wind industry. This in order to investigate potential partnerships and upcoming opportunities in the UK and Dutch offshore wind sectors. An afternoon session of pre-arranged B2B meetings will be followed by a networking reception.
The UK has a share of more than 50% of the world’s offshore wind. This makes it an ideal location for international offshore wind businesses. The UK is not only the largest offshore wind market today but we are also building an industry for tomorrow. To deliver a low cost offshore wind industry, the international supply chain will need to increase its capability and capacity. Overseas cooperation and exchange of knowledge & expertise can help make this happen.
